Abstract : This study aims to address the effective bus arbitration techniques that are essential to minimize latency and collisions and ensure smooth data delivery in high-speed communication networks. In order to address the issues of congestion, priority-based access, and equitable resource distribution, this study proposes a unique arbitration mechanism that is optimized for high-speed communication buses. Conventional arbitration mechanisms, such as time-division and token-based approaches, frequently experience higher overhead or become ineffective when dealing with high data volumes. To increase throughput and reduce access delays, the suggested technique combines a hybrid contention-free and contention-based access strategy with a dynamic priority scheduling algorithm. Verilog is used to implement the arbitration logic, which is then simulated in Vivado and tested under a range of traffic scenarios to show its effectiveness. Compared to traditional approaches, the results show a notable decrease in bus congestion, better reaction times, and optimal bandwidth utilization. The design is scalable for use in high-speed computing interfaces, automotive networks, and embedded systems. By improving real-time data transmission in high-performance digital systems, this effort helps to provide reliable and effective communication under a range of load conditions.
