List of Hands-On Exercises
- Create an account in a cloud platform and launch a virtual machine; configure basic storage and networking services.
- Install Docker and execute basic commands to run, stop, and manage containers.
- Create Docker images using Dockerfile and push images to a container registry.
- Develop and deploy a multi-container application using Docker Compose.
- Design and implement a simple microservices-based application and containerize the services.
- Install and set up a Kubernetes cluster using Minikube.
- Create and manage Pods, Deployments, and Services in Kubernetes.
- Perform scaling, load balancing, and service exposure (ClusterIP/NodePort) in Kubernetes.
- Implement rolling updates, rollback mechanisms, and monitor logs in Docker and Kubernetes environments.
Mini Project: Design and deploy a multi-tier cloud-native application using Docker and Kubernetes.
