Job Description

  • The Computational Science Lab (CSL), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru Campus, invites applications for Postdoctoral Researcher positions in AI-Driven Computational Science.

  • The selected researchers will work at the intersection of Applied Mathematics, Scientific Computing, Artificial Intelligence, and Engineering, developing advanced computational and AI-enabled methodologies for challenging PDE-based problems.

  • Key research areas include

    • Scientific Machine Learning

    • Physics-Informed Neural Networks (PINNs)

    • Neural Operators (DeepONet/FNO)

    • AI/LLM-assisted Scientific Computing

    • Finite Element Methods (FEM)

    • Numerical PDEs

    • Computational Fluid Dynamics

    • Heat and Mass Transfer

    • Multiphysics Modelling

    • Digital Twins

    • Inverse Problems

    • Optimization

    • Biomedical Modelling

    • Computational Electromagnetics, and High-Performance Computing (HPC).



  • Candidates should hold a PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Computational Science, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline, with a strong research and publication record.

  • Experience in Python/MATLAB, numerical methods, FEM, machine learning/deep learning, PINNs, neural operators, CFD, or HPC will be an advantage.
