Abstract : Remaining charge of a battery is indicated as the State of Charge and is declared as an important parameter in monitoring and controlling systems that are powered by batteries. The precise determination of State of Charge is needed for high-performance and reliable operation in lithium-ion batteries used in applications like GPS tracker system for vehicles. Voltage monitoring system is integrated with Internet-of-Things to obtain SoC estimated values in Lithium-ion batteries. By enabling real-time data transmission and voltage measurements, the system continuously generates accurate SoC. By integrating state-of-the-art voltage monitoring hardware combined with IoT functionalities, it is guaranteed to perform SoC estimation in real time for uninterrupted processes and further enhanced user experience.
