| Job Description | The research group of Dr. Akhil Sivan, invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position in the field of Synthetic Organic Chemistry and Photochemistry. The group’s research focuses on the design and synthesis of heterocyclic compounds, multi-component reactions, fluorescent materials, and photochemical transformations with applications in fluorescent sensing and medicinal chemistry. The successful candidate will work on developing novel organic fluorophores, exploring photoinduced processes, and integrating experimental and computational approaches to understand structure–property relationships. Candidates with strong expertise in synthetic organic chemistry, spectroscopic characterization, and/or computational chemistry are encouraged to apply. |
