Qualification Ph.D. in Mechanical / Aerospace / Civil (fluid mechanics) / Applied Mechanics / Ocen engineering/ Chemical engineering or a closely related discipline, with doctoral research in Fluid Mechanics, Aerodynamics, bluff body flows, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Heat transfer etc.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Computational Fluid dynamics, Aerodynamics, heat transfer, bio-fluid mechanics, battery thermal management etc.

  • Develop, implement and validate computational fluid dynamics (CFD) models using inhouse, commercial and open-source solvers, and correlate numerical predictions with experimental results and established literature.

  • Investigate flow separation, boundary-layer development, wake interactions, vortex-induced effects and fluid–structure interactions, with emphasis on understanding underlying physical mechanisms.

  • Analyse heat transfer and coupled thermo-fluid phenomena, including forced and natural convection, conjugate heat transfer, thermal management and energy-related applications.

  • Publish research findings in high-impact journals, prepare funding proposals and technical reports, mentor research scholars and students, and ensure timely completion of project deliverables and milestones.
