Bioinformatics is a specialized science that can bridge a lot of research problems in biology and address it through various computational approaches. The complicated nature of the biological data and interpreting the information is always a real challenge. These solutions can be achieved with interdisciplinary approaches such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning since they tend to understand the user requirement when trained and can be worked on a larger biological data set in case of humans. The pathophysiology of different diseases are co-related. Biomedical text mining can be done to gather scattered information about the disease and association between genes/proteins can help in further understanding the disease cause at genetic level.
