This project aims to develop paper analytical devices for the monitoring of proteins/enzymes/hormones by colourimetric/ fluorimetric method. As these analytes are detected by immunoassay, a paper-based immunoassay platform needs to be developed with enhanced colour intensity or fluorescence intensity enabling visual detection. Furthermore, direct testing of the fingerstick blood sample is also to be carried out by integrating plasma separation membrane.
