The project involves surface engineering of nanofillers and tailoring them for specific applications by incorporating them in polymer matrices like rubber, epoxy, block copolymer, thermoplastics etc. The nanocomposites thus fabricated find applications in automobile, aerospace and marine industries. The students will get exposure to various analytical techniques during their PhD.
