(Pharm D 2011-17 batch)

“I am Aloysius James, currently working as a certified Pharmacist graduate Intern in Dallas, Texas. I completed my Doctor of Pharmacy from Amrita School of Pharmacy in 2017. I am incredibly grateful to be a part of Amrita family. The guidance and facilities provided in Amrita were outstanding. The management and all the faculties from various departments were so warm, enthusiastic and always accessible. They allowed me to see the deep impact a pharmacist has on patient care and the role of a pharmacist on the health care team. Moreover, the exposure obtained for a Pharm D student from such a super-speciality hospital-like Amrita is excellent. I was able to publish my student research work in an international journal which is included in the PubMed reference database, with the help of my respected guides and facilities availed in the campus. I am honestly thankful to Amrita School of Pharmacy for making me professional enough to compete with the international standards demanded for pharmacists, in the USA.”

“All my life I had never been able to give a response to that often asked question, “What do you want to be when you’re grown up?” I couldn’t answer because I had many options. Joining Amrita School of Pharmacy was one of the best decisions of my life. I soon realized that it is not just a group of buildings gathered around a library. It is much beyond just an Institution; It is a way of life. The lessons and values I learnt during my time there will stay with me for life and so will my friends and teachers. It was the place where I began to learn and see the world on my own terms, and take advantage of the choices I was blessed with the ability to make. My time at the campus surely played its role in moulding me into a better person. So, to every graduate walking out of Amrita School of Pharmacy, I would say hold your heads high because it’s your door to untold opportunities”
