AMRITATARANG
Amrita Center for Wireless Networks & Applications, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham has launched a new Research Facility in the field of RF & Microwave to provide cutting-edge facilities for research, development and testing of advanced systems and technologies in the field of Radio Frequency (RF) and Microwave Engineering. The lab is entitled as ‘AMRITATARANG – Advanced RF and Microwave Research Lab’, which is the first of its kind in India in the field of RF and Microwave Engineering, with the following capabilities:
- Anechoic Chamber: Operating frequency range from 800 MHz to 67 GHz extendable up to 110 GHz
- N5227B PNA Microwave Network Analyzer: Operating frequency range 10 MHz – 67 GHz
- Material Measurement Suite:
- Keysight N1500A-001: Solid dielectric probe kit including calibration kit usable up to 50 GHz
- Keysight N1500A-004: Liquid dielectric probe kit including calibration kit usable up to 50 GHz
- RF and Microwave PCB Prototyping Machine: LPKF ProtoMat S104, being installed.
