Chromatography: Fundamentals of Chromatography, van Deemter curve, Ion exchange chromatography, Gel filtration chromatography, Reversed-phase chromatography, Affinity chromatography, High performance liquid chromatography, Fast protein liquid chromatography, Supercritical Fluid chromatography, Gas chromatography, UHPLC. 

Ultracentrifugation and biological applications: Theory, Determination of purity of samples, Determination of conformational changes, Determination of molecular mass, Study of molecular aggregates using analytical ultracentrifuges equipped with fluorescence detection. 

Primary structure determination of proteins: Amino acid composition, End group analysis, Determination of sequence of proteins. 

UV-Visible Spectroscopy: Principle, Instrumentation, Applications- Folding and Unfolding studies. 

Fluorescence Spectroscopy: Principle, Instrumentation, Applications- Fluorescence quenching, Stern-Volmer equation, Conformational studies, FRET. 

Circular Dichroism (CD): Theory, Instrumentation, Applications- Determination of secondary and tertiary structures of proteins, Conformational studies. 

Isothermal titration calorimetry (ITC) and Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC): Theory, Instrumentation, Applications- Binding and conformational studies. 

Atomic force microscopy (AFM): Theory, Instrumentation, Biological applications. 

Infrared (IR) spectroscopy: Theory and applications.
