Exercises on plain turning, step turning, taper turning, knurling & chamfering, thread cutting, plain milling, end milling, shaping machines – slab & slot cutting, study of grinding machines – surface grinding and cylindrical grinding, study of drilling machines, exercises on drilling machine – drilling, boring, reaming, counter boring, counter sinking & tapping. Measurement of cutting force.
Study of various processes, tools and equipment’s used in foundry, exercises on mould preparation, foundry sand testing.
