9-9-9 Challenge
Amrita College of Nursing, Kochi

Selected second-year B.Sc. Nursing students of Amrita College of Nursing, Kochi, participated in the 9-9-9 Challenge from March 28, 2023 till April 04, 2023. The ‘9-9-9 challenge’ is an initiative of the integrated holistic healthcare –Mind, Body, and Environment, initiated by official working group of C20. This challenge seeks to demonstrate the vital impact of yoga and meditation in our life. The 9-9-9 challenge is : perform 9 rounds of Surya Namaskar, 9 minutes of World Peace Meditation and commit to doing this daily for 9 days.

The session was inaugurated by Prof. Sheela Pavithran (Vice Principal, Amrita College Of Nursing, Kochi) followed by a small introduction about 9-9-9 challenge by Ms. Shalimol U.S. (Assistant Professor, Amrita College Of Nursing, Kochi). Mr. Ramesh (Yoga Instructor) guided the students in doing Surya Namaskars. After a small break, the students had a mediation session followed by shanthi mantras.
