Engenius – 2022 is a national level annual project competition organized by Directorate of Admissions & Academic Outreach at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Engenius offers a platform for talented Engineering students & professionals to highlight their innovative technical projects. The competition is open to Engineering students – UG, PG/PhD Scholars and Professionals working in industry.
The event will culminate with the ‘FUTURE TECHNOLOGY & INNOVATORS SUMMIT ‘22’ in July 2022 where you get an opportunity to be an integral part of the tech ecosystem. This will be a fantastic opportunity for aspiring as well as veterans of the technology industry to meet and network.

Engenius Stages & Timelines

Round 1 : Preliminary Round 2 : Qualifier Round 3 : War Room & Grand Finale
Round 1 : Preliminary

The preliminary round will take place in the form of an online abstract submission. Participants individuals or team of maximum five members can register and submit the project under any of the category/stream mentioned above. The preliminary Evaluation of the project will be based on the topic & objective of the project.

Guidelines

  • The maximum number of members allowed for a team is 5
  • A project can be registered in any one stream/category
  • A project can be registered in any one stream irrespective of the branch of study/work of team members.
  • Team should submit an abstract in pdf Format – Maximum 1000 words
  • You will have to complete the first round by the 15th June 2022.
Round 2 : Qualifier

Qualifier : September 20 to September 30, 2022

After the prelims, the selected teams will compete in the next round. The second-round evaluation of the project will be based on relevance, innovation, fulfillment of objectives, development Efficiency, effectiveness, impact, and society relatedness. The team should submit a project presentation video (maximum 15 minutes) clearly explaining the project in detail. You may use slides and video recordings but should not include university logos, Industry logo, templates, or other identifying materials of the university/college/industry or team members. Any identifying material in the project presentation could bias judges and risk disqualification.

Round 3 : War Room & Grand Finale

Shortlisted teams will proceed further and compete in the third and final round. This will be conducted as an on-ground activity and will take place at Amrita university. The final Evaluation of the project will be based on this presentation and discussion with experts from industry and academia & followed by a Q & A Session. The team should come to Amrita university for final review of the project.

War Room & Grand Finale : October 10 to October 15, 2022

Venue: Amrita University (Coimbatore, Amrita Puri & Bangalore)

Engenius will culminate with the ‘FUTURE TECHNOLOGY & INNOVATORS SUMMIT ‘22’ in July 2022 where you get an opportunity to be an integral part of the tech ecosystem. This will be a fantastic opportunity for aspiring as well as veterans of the technology industry to meet and network.
