Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences will host the 13th Annual National Conference of Indian Society of Toxicology, TOXOCON-13 at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences & Research Centre (AIMS&RC) , Cochin, Kerala being organised by the Department of Emergency Medicine in collaboration with Poison Control Centre, AIMS, Cochin, under the aegis of Indian Society of Toxicology from December 20 – 21, 2019.
The theme for TOXOCON-13 is “Toxrcomythology to Toxicology”, correcting common misconceptions in medical toxicology.
This conference is meant for specialists & students of Forensic Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, Psychiatry, General Medicine and Paediatrics.
Kerala- home to the languid backwaters, long coastlines, sprawling tea gardens, and colourful dance forms is but a tiny sliver of paradise.

The Abstract must be structured, typed in English using MS-Word format with double spacing and Times New Roman (font size 12). Title should be in upper case (font size 14). Abstract should not exceed 300 words and must be followed by 3-5 key words. The names of authors and affiliations should follow immediately under the title, highlighting the name of presenting author. DO NOT include degrees or professional designations. Original research, review papers, case studies, case series, etc., are welcome for presentation.
Only one paper/poster per delegate is permitted. Final decision regarding the type of presentation (Paper/Poster) rests with the organising committee. Details for paper/poster presentation will be Informed to participants along with acceptance letter.
Paper/Poster presentation and entry to Award Session is restricted to Life/Annual Members of the Indian Society of Toxicology. Non-members can avail the opportunity to compete in the Award Session by enrolling as either Annual or Life Member of IST. Best Paper/Poster In Faculty and PG category will be awarded separately. The newly enrolled members can also reap the benefits of getting their papers published in the prestigious Journal of Indian Society of Toxicology (JIST) as per the rules and regulations of the Society.
