Dr. Hemavathy S. K. currently serves as Professor in the Department of Prasooti Tantra and Streeroga, Amrita School of Ayurveda, Amritapuri. She completed B.A.M.S. from S.D.M. College of Ayurveda Udupi, Mangalore University, in 1995. She pursued M.S. in Prasooti Tantra and Streeroga from S.D.M. College of Ayurveda, Udupi of R.G.U.H.S. Karnataka in 2005. She is engaged in private practice from 1995 to 2002. Dr. Hemavathy joined Amrita School of Ayurveda in 2006 and promoted as Associate Professor in 2011. She is having more than 20 years of professional and 10 years of teaching experience. She is a recognized P.G. Guide and U.G. & P.G. Examiners of various Universities. SHe has delivered invited talks in various national and international seminars.
