Bio

Dr. Jeyalakshmi S. currently serves as an Assistant Professor of English in the Department of Science and Humanities at Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai campus.

She brings nearly 25 years of experience in teaching English language and literature across India, Eritrea, and Saudi Arabia. Her doctoral work examined postmodern self-narration in selected novels by Italo Calvino. Her academic interests span postmodernism, feminist studies, cultural studies, posthumanism, disability studies, and technology-enhanced English language teaching. She has published in reputed, high-impact journals and is presently guiding four research scholars. She also holds the Cambridge CELTA certification from the British Council, Chennai, and has further strengthened her professional profile by earning a SWAYAM–NPTEL Domain Certification in English Studies.
