Lavanya Goura currently serves as a Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Computing, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amaravati campus. Her areas of research include Image Processing, Machine Learning and Deep Learning.

She received her Master of Technology (M. Tech.) in Computer Science and Technology from J.N.T.U., Kakinada, India. She has published 2 research papers in international conferences.

She received her Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech.) in Computer Science and Technology from J.N.T.U., Kakinada, India. She worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Computing, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore from May 2022 to July 2023.
