Dr. Jitendra Bahadur joined the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering on 16th of January 2024 as an Assistant Professor (Standard Track). He has completed his Ph. D. from IIT Roorkee, with Postdoc from Chung Ang University, Seoul, South Korea in the year of October 2023. He has filed Korean patent on “A method for controlling the crystal growth of fully inorganic perovskite thin films using two-dimensional aromatic carbon chain materials, Patent application No. 10-2023-0083615/0083616, dated 28.06.2023 and on “Method for Controlling the Crystal Growth Rate of Inorganic Perovskite Semiconductor Using Amino Groups Comprised Thiazole” Patent application No. 10-2023-0164811, 2023.11.23.

  • He is a recipient of National Research Foundation Brain-Pool Postdoctoral Fellowship-2022 & 2021 supported by South Korea.
  • He also received Bhaskara Advanced Solar Energy (BASE-2017) Fellowship supported by Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India, and the Indo-U.S. Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) for six months’ research at University of Louisville, Louisville, USA.
  • He achieved the Young Scientist and Best Poster Award in the International Conference on Energy, Functional Material and Nanotechnology held at Kumaun University, Nainital, India from March 27-29, 2016.
  • He won the Best Poster Award in the Third International Conference on Sustainable Energy, and Environmental Challenges Nanotechnology, hosted by IIT Roorkee and NIT Uttarakhand, India from December 18-21, 2018.
