Bio

Mr. K. Vishnu Raj currently serves as an Assistant Professor (OC) in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, Bengaluru. He joined Amrita in 2024.

He holds a dual undergraduate degree -B.Sc. in Physics and B.Sc. in Information Technology and completed his M.Sc. in Applied Electronics from C.M.S College, Coimbatore in 2019. During his postgraduate studies, he worked as a Research Intern under Dr. S. Karthik Kannan, where he gained valuable experience in research with a strong interdisciplinary focus. Before entering academia, Mr. Vishnu Raj served as an Embedded Systems Engineer at Sparks Automations, later progressing to the role of Embedded Product Design Engineer. In this capacity, he mentored multiple engineering projects and delivered several plenary talks on emerging trends in Embedded Systems and Edge Computing at various academic institutions.

His research interests lie at the intersection of Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Biomedical Engineering, with a focus on Control of Prosthetic Hands, Soft Robotics, Machine Learning, and Interdisciplinary Embedded System Design. He actively pursues interdisciplinary research, combining principles from electronics, artificial intelligence, and human-centric design
