Bio

Dr. W. S. Kiran is an Assistant Professor (Sr. Gd.), in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, School of Engineering, Nagercoil.

Dr. W. S. Kiran received his Ph.D. from Anna University in 2022, specializing in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs), with research focused on energy-efficient routing, clustering protocols, optimization techniques, artificial intelligence, and secure wireless communication. He earned his M.E. in Communication Systems from Karpagam College of Engineering, Coimbatore, in 2013, and his B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from VINS Christian College of Engineering, Nagercoil, in 2011. Throughout his academic career, he has been actively engaged in teaching, research, curriculum development, and academic administration. He has published number of research papers in reputed national and international journals and has presented his research at numerous national and international conferences. Dr. Kiran is also an active innovator with four published Indian patents to his credit, reflecting his commitment to research, innovation, and technological advancement.
