Dr. Manjula C.M. currently serves as Assistant Professor at the Department of Prasoothi Tantra & Stree Roga, School of Ayurveda, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus.
She pursued her BAMS and Post-graduation (Stri Roga and Prasuti Tantra) from Amrita School of Ayurveda, Amritapuri, Kollam. She worked as Junior Physician at Kunnathuvalappil Sankaran Chandran Vaidyar Paramparya Chikitsa, Thrissur, during 2015-2017, as a Consultant in Amrita Life agency, Fort Kochi, Ernakulam, during 2014-2015 and as Production Manager in Amrita Life Ayurvedic Pharmaceuticals during 2011- 2014 from where she has gained ample experience in R&D works, documentation, consultation and teaching. Additionally, she was trained in ‘Holistic Family Management (including Yoga and Counselling)’ under Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, ‘Counselling and Transactional Analysis’ under Life Guide Counselling and Transactional analysis Study Centre, Thrissur, ‘Vanitha Clinic Training Program’ under AMAI Thrissur and ‘Clinical research and documentation’ under Clinova, Thrissur.
Since 2005, she has participated in various national and international seminars, workshops, CMEs and medical camps including diagnostic camps specially organized for women. She has taken classes in various training programs for medical representatives, health and hygiene awareness classes for different age groups including school children, adolescents and retirees. She has also taken a class on topic “A clinical approach to Dysmenorrhea” as a resource person in webinar ‘Principles and practices of Gynecology & Obstetrics’, organized by Team Sameeksha. She has also presented various papers and posters in national and international seminars.
