Bio

Dr. Mohit Kumar Singh is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amaravati Campus. With over 8 years of academic and research experience, his expertise lies in high-power microwave devices, metamaterials,metasurface absorbers, beam steering, artificial magnetic conductors,and RIS.

He earned his Ph.D. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Patna. He contributed significantly to DRDO-sponsored research projects. He holds an M.Tech. from Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur, and a B.Tech. from Gautam Buddh Technical University, Lucknow.
Dr. Singh has published several high-impact research articles in top-tier IEEE journals such as IEEE Transactions on Electron Devices and IEEE Transactions on Plasma Science. He is the inventor of a granted Indian patent on “ADual Band Magnetically Insulated Line Oscillator”.

His technical competencies include simulation tools like CST Microwave Studio Suite, HFSS, MATLAB, and hands-on skills with VNA measurements. In addition to his research, he contributed as a reviewer for leadingIEEE Transactions Journals and conferences.
