Bio

Dr. Nishant Singh is an Assistant Professor (Sl. Gd.) in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management at Amrita School of Business, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore. He holds a Ph.D. in Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour from IIT Roorkee and is UGC-NET qualified in Management. He has over 7.5 years of academic experience and 3.5 years of corporate experience in the FMCG sector. Prior to joining Amrita School of Business, he served at Bennett University and Jain (Deemed-to-be University), and has also been associated with the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT), New Delhi, as Visiting Faculty.

His teaching and research interests include Meaningful Work, Workplace Spirituality, Mindfulness, Innovative Work Behaviour, Psychological Contracts, Employee Behaviour, HR Analytics, Leadership, and technology-enabled organisational change. He has taught courses including Organisational Behaviour, Human Resource Management, HR Metrics and Analytics, Leadership and Change Management, Managing Behaviour in Organizations, and Compensation and Reward Management.

He has also been involved in externally funded research projects supported by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), including projects related to millet production and socio-economic development in Uttarakhand and psychological need satisfaction and mental health outcomes among Gen Z.
