Bio

Pranav Kushwaha is an Assistant Professor of Law at Amrita International School of Law (AISL). An Advocate enrolled with the Bar Council of India, he is a UGC-NET qualified having cleared the examination in both the December 2024 and June 2025 cycles. Pranav completed his LL.M. in Intellectual Property Law from the Rajiv Gandhi School of Intellectual Property Law (RGSOIPL), Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, one of India’s premier institutions for advanced legal studies in intellectual property. Prior to this, he earned his B.A. LL.B. degree from Bundelkhand University, Jhansi.

His academic interests lie at the intersection of Intellectual Property Rights, Technology Law, Artificial Intelligence, Competition Law, Data Protection, Constitutional Law, and Public Policy. He has undertaken extensive interdisciplinary research exploring contemporary legal challenges arising from technological innovation and digital transformation. His scholarly contributions have been published in reputed national and international journals, including Journals published by National Law Universities (NLUs), peer-reviewed law reviews, and internationally indexed platforms. He has published multiple research articles in Scopus indexed journals and reputed law reviews, reflecting his growing contribution to contemporary legal scholarship. Pranav’s academic profile is further strengthened by a series of international certifications from prestigious institutions and organizations, including the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Maryland, the University of Illinois, Queen Mary University of London, and the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR). These specialized courses cover areas such as Patent Cooperation Treaty, Intellectual Property for Entrepreneurs, Cloud Computing Law, Environmental Governance, Finance of Mergers and Acquisitions, and related domains of law and policy.

Alongside his academic pursuits, Pranav is actively associated with various nongovernmental organizations and social initiatives dedicated to grassroots development, legal awareness, community empowerment, and public welfare. He has contributed to several funded projects and outreach activities aimed at promoting legal literacy, social justice, sustainable development, and policy advocacy. As an educator, researcher, and legal professional, he remains committed to advancing scholarship and fostering impactful engagement at the intersection of law, innovation, technology, and society.
