Dr. Rashmi Mittal is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at the School of Medicine, Faridabad.

Dr. Rashmi Mittal is an alumnus of Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore and did her internship at Christian Medical College, Vellore. During her masters in Ophthalmology from Christian Medical College, Vellore, she received the “Best outgoing student” award. She completed all steps of FICO, UK in 2013. She also did a long-term fellowship in cornea and anterior segment at LVPEI, Hyderabad in 2015. Dr. Rashmi has presented several papers, posters and videos at various national and international forums. She has several publications to her credit in various international peer reviewed journals and has a keen interest in research in the field of cornea. Her main areas of clinical interest include DSEK, DALK and other lamellar surgeries, infectious keratitis and keratoconus in addition to phacoemulsification and LASIK. She is experienced in treating ocular chemical burns, Steven Johnson syndrome and other ocular surface disorders. She is also trained in limbal stem cell transplantation and keratoprosthesis for complex ocular surface diseases.
