Bio

Dr. Shinu M. Rajagopal currently serves as an Assistant Professor (Sr. Gd) in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, School of Computing, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru. She earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, with a strong focus on distributed intelligent systems and resource management in next-generation computing environments. She completed her M.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University and her B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Calicut University.
Her research expertise lies in Cloud Computing, Edge and Fog Computing, Distributed Systems, Internet of Things (IoT), Edge AI, Blockchain-enabled systems, Federated Learning, and Quantum Computing, with special emphasis on secure, scalable, and low-latency intelligence across Edge–Fog–Cloud architectures. Her work integrates AI-driven optimization, privacy-preserving learning, and decentralized computing for real-time applications, particularly in smart healthcare and cyber-physical systems. She is actively guiding students in high-impact research areas related to Edge Intelligence, Federated Learning, IoT analytics, Blockchain-based secure computing, and Quantum Computing, aiming to build efficient, trustworthy, and future-ready distributed AI systems.
