Bio

Shone Surendran completed his PhD in Education at UCL Institute of Education. His research interests focuses on science education and communication informed by philosophical perspectives. He graduated with a BA (Hons) in Philosophy at Heythrop College, University of London and MSc in Philosophy and History of Science, at the London School of Economics. He completed his MRes in Educational and Social Research at UCL IOE before undertaking his doctoral research. His current research addresses health communication, patient education and health equity, working on research projects at Imperial College London and King’s College London. He remains based at UCL as an honorary research fellow, where he also serves as Book Reviews Editor for London Review of Education Journal, UCL Press.
