Bio

Dr. Srikanta Parida is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Languages at Amrita School of Arts, Humanities and Commerce, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru Campus. He received his Ph.D. in Sanskrit from Pondicherry University. His academic specialization includes Sanskrit literature, manuscriptology and paleography, Indian philosophy, and Indian Knowledge Systems.

Dr. Parida’s research focuses on the study, preservation, and critical editing of Sanskrit manuscripts, along with interdisciplinary research on traditional Indian knowledge systems and their relevance to contemporary society. He has published more than 100 research papers in Scopus indexed, UGC CARE listed, and peer reviewed journals.
He has coordinated several national and international conferences, workshops, and faculty development programs on Sanskrit studies, Vedic traditions, and Indian philosophical thought. His work also involves the study of ancient scripts and manuscript traditions, contributing to the preservation and dissemination of India’s intellectual heritage.
