His career of 35 years saw him manage operations from production, merchandising, projects, business-development, global-sourcing and exports-profit-centre-management with assignments in India, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Dhaka. After retirement in April 2021, Venkatesh has been involved in teaching at B-Schools and mentoring. He joined the Amrita School of Business as an Adjunct Professor of Practice from April 2023.
