Dr. Vinitha V. U. is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore. She holds a Ph.D. in Management (Marketing) from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, a PGDM, UGC-NET qualification in Management, and the Accredited Management Teacher (AMT) credential from the All India Management Association.
She brings more than two decades of academic and industry experience, including over 19 years of MBA teaching and five years in marketing and administration across the healthcare and education sectors. Before joining Amrita in 2019, she held faculty and academic leadership roles at institutions affiliated with the University of Calicut.
Her research interests lie in areas such as consumer aesthetics, biophilia, brand anthropomorphism, and servicescapes design. She has published in leading national and international journals, including the Journal of Services Marketing and the Journal of Brand Management. She teaches Fundamentals of Marketing, Consumer Behaviour, Strategic Brand Management, Integrated Marketing Communications, and Experiential Marketing at Amrita School of Business.
