Job Description

  • The Civil Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily construction activities to ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality, and safety standards.

  • The role includes coordinating manpower, materials, and equipment to maintain smooth site operations and achieve project targets within the approved timeline and budget.

  • The supervisor prepares and submits daily Material Request Intent (MRI) to the store for timely material issuance, updates the Daily Progress Report (DPR) with work progress details, maintains workers’ attendance records, tracks material consumption, and ensures efficient resource utilization to avoid delays and cost overruns while ensuring timely completion of assigned works.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day site activities as per approved drawings and project specifications.

  • Ensure execution of work as per quality, safety, and project standards.

  • Prepare and submit daily MRI (Material Request Intent) to the store department for timely material issuance.

  • Maintain daily updating of DPR (Daily Progress Report) including work progress, manpower deployment, and site activities.

  • Monitor and record workers’ attendance and maintain stock of manpower deployment.

  • Track and record daily material consumption to avoid wastage and ensure cost control.

  • Ensure availability of required materials, tools, and equipment at site.

  • Coordinate with Civil Dept HOD, CPD team of Architects or engineers, subcontractors, Project HR dept, and store department for smooth workflow.

  • Ensure completion of assigned work within the approved budget and scheduled timeline.

  • Maintain proper documentation and report any site issues or delays to the Cvil Engineer/Senior Supervisors / Cvil Dept HOD.
