Amrita Students Win Prizes in the 15 Second Horror Short Film Challenge

The 2018 batch of B. Sc. Visual Media students of School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi campus, won silver and gold tier prizes in the 15 Second Horror Short Film Challenge conducted worldwide by Canadian Filmmaker Andrew J.D. Robinson, who is the founder of the non-profit international film making contests, “15 Second Horror Short Film Challenge” and “The Horror Movie Awards”.

Among the 10 films made by our students, ‘Connecting’, ‘The Eerie Picture’, ‘The Unseen’ and ‘Reunite’ got featured in the prestigious ‘celebrity favorites’ category selected by a 24-member panel with renowned professionals from Hollywood. The videos and official results are published on their YouTube Channel.

The students were guided by the faculty members Krishnakumar M. A. and Varun Prabha T. of School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi campus
