CCNA Students Represent India at Asia – Pacific Competition

Three students of our Cisco Networking Academy participated in the Asia-Pacific NetRiders Skills Competition conducted by CISCO at Bangalore in Nov 2008. They cleared three rigorous rounds of hands-on skills and theory tests and were selected to represent India in the final round.

“Some of our engineering students also study for their CCNA certification while at the college,” stated Dr. M.P. Chandrasekharan, Dean Engineering. “For instance, these students are 3rd year engineering students. CISCO Networking Academies are functioning on all campuses that have Schools of Engineering — Amritapuri, Bangalore, Coimbatore.”

Mr. Sivadasan E.T. had trained the students. The final round was conducted virtually using Cisco’s web technologies on Nov 26 and 27. Teams from 15 different countries in the Asia-Pacific Region competed, including the team from Amrita. We congratulate the students for their participation.
