After the successful Dinacharya awareness program held recently at local Anganwadis, the initiative was extended last week to Ramhlun Venglai (Centre-2), Chaltlang, and Chite. Dinacharya—the Ayurvedic concept of a structured daily routine—encourages healthy practices such as hygiene, balanced nutrition, proper sleep, and seasonal adaptations for overall well-being.
In these three locations, 43 mothers, 53 children, and 4 Anganwadi workers participated in interactive demonstrations, storytelling, and discussions on how these simple habits can improve long-term health. The program emphasizes equipping caregivers with practical knowledge and nurturing healthy lifestyles from an early age.
This initiative directly contributes to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), SDG 2 (Zero Hunger), SDG 4.2 (Early Childhood Development), and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
