The School of Artificial Intelligence, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, is delighted to congratulate Dr. Sowmya V, Associate Professor, on her distinguished participation as a Panelist at the 15th World Education Congress & Awards 2026, held in Mumbai and governed by the Global Advisory Council. The theme of this year’s congress, “AI-Driven Education: Transforming Learning, Leadership & Global Impact,” brought together global leaders to discuss the future of education.
Dr. Sowmya was a panelist in the session “Women in AI and Educational Leadership: Driving Inclusive Innovation,” where she shared valuable perspectives on building inclusive AI-powered educational ecosystems. She emphasized the importance of developing accessible and personalized AI solutions for differently abled learners and their families, encouraged greater participation of women in AI and educational leadership, and highlighted the value of project-based, outcome-oriented learning that nurtures creativity, critical thinking, and real-world problem-solving.
Adding to this remarkable achievement, Dr. Sowmya was honoured with the Education Leadership Award in recognition of her outstanding contributions to teaching, research, innovation, and academic leadership.
