A two-day National Seminar on Internet Economy was conducted by the Department of Commerce and Management, School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi campus from September 18 – 19, 2015.

The session was addressed by eminent speakers Dr. C. Unnikrishnan Nair, Traffic Manager, Cochin Port Trust, Kochi, Sri. Andre Solomon, Catalogo Quality Analysist, Amazon.in, Bangalore, Dr. R. Radakrishna Pillai, Professor Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode, Dr. Meera Bai. M, Professor, Cochin University of Science And Technology. The seminar deliberated on Economic Activities using Electronic Network as a medium to Commerce. The inaugural function was on 18th Sptember. The dignitaries present were Dr. P.T. Mathew, Principal General Manager, BBNL, Dr. C. Unnikrishnan Nayar, Traffic Manager, Cochin Port Trust, Swami PurnamritanandaPuri gave the blessing address.
