Professor Kenneth Salisbury of the Department of Computer Science and Surgery, Stanford University offered a Lecture series on September 21st 2011 at Amrita Campus on behalf of AMMACHI labs. Professor Kenneth Salisbury is known for his seminal contributions to the fields of robotic hands and arms, haptics, and robotically assisted surgery, and Personal Robotics. Salisbury is inventor or co-inventor on over 30 patents and author on numerous papers in the field of robotics, haptics, and telemanipulation. His lecture sessions covered an insight on Robotics: Devices, Design, and Utilization and About Haptics: its Concepts, Interface Design and Rendering.
