Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, through its Centre for Internet Studies and Artificial Intelligence (CISAI), successfully concluded a two-day Cybersecurity Capacity Building Workshop for officers from the Karnataka State Police Department under the ISEA Phase III Project. Held on March 27 and 28, 2025, at the Sir M V Auditorium, Chickpete, Bengaluru, the event witnessed the participation of 335 police officers, cybersecurity researchers, and industry professionals.
The workshop aimed to strengthen security, governance, and privacy practices within law enforcement and create awareness about emerging cyber threats and response strategies. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Pronab Mohanty, IPS, Director General of Police, who delivered a powerful keynote address on the critical role of cybersecurity in modern policing.
