AI-Powered Algorithm for Detecting Micronutrient Deficiency in Coconut Trees

AI-Powered Algorithm for Detecting Micronutrient Deficiency in Coconut Trees

This ongoing project approved by Marico, employs an AI-powered image recognition algorithm to detect micronutrient deficiencies in coconut trees, using machine learning models trained on labelled nutrient deficiency datasets. The algorithm analyses images of tree trunks and leaves to accurately and efficiently pinpoint deficiencies that pose threats to coconut cultivation productivity by providing farmers and experts with an automated precision tool to manage plantations proactively, the project ultimately aims to enhance sustainability, yield, and prosperity across the coconut farming industry.
