Methodological AWESOME: Women for Ethical AI: Technology Adoption

Objectives:

To study the adoption of technology in rural populations from the dimensions of access, awareness, attitude, and exposure. This includes assessing the effective adoption of emerging technologies like conversational AI in the day-to-day lives of individuals. 

Research Questions: 

  • What are the factors that could influence the adoption of technology?
  • Is the identified/developed tool effective in measuring adoption across contexts?
  • How far would women find it meaningful to adopt technology?
  • What could be the best strategies to introduce emerging technologies to rural populations that add value to their lives?
