Virtual laboratory NMEICT project

Virtual laboratory NMEICT project

In the recent Virtual Lab Phase III and IV projects by the Ministry of Education, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham developed more virtual laboratories adding to the existing 360+ experiments in vlab.amrita.edu. Biosignal Processing and Analysis Lab focuses on EEG analysis with data from original recordings accessible through web-browsers and to challenge students in performing event-based activities in such signals. The lab design is based on an open-source signal analysis platform that can also be extended by students from across the internet. Bioinformatics and Data Science in Biotechnology lab provides introduction to bioinformatics experiments using R programming. Educating this will allow users to learn how to use R as an open-source language for learning bioinformatics data processing. Specifically, this lab will help analyze biological sequence data using simple R code snippets in a user-friendly approach.
