Abstract : Submarines are designed and built to perform underwater operations. They are used for various underwater investigations. The focus of this study is to gain knowledge in the design and operation of a submarine prototype. The model was remotely controlled by a wired transmission. A simple and effective mechanism was adopted. The design was cost efficient and was successful when tested till a depth of seven feet.
