Abstract : In this paper, a Compact Monopole antenna is designed, simulated, and evaluated in a 2.45 GHz ISM band. Polyamide Kapton with a thickness of 1mm is used as substrate. The suggested antenna is intended to test in both on-body and free space scenarios. The proposed antenna is intended for biomedical imaging and sensing purposes. The compactness of the design ensures portability and compatibility for wearable medical devices. Computer simulation technology (CST) software has been used for the design and simulation of antenna. The optimization techniques and fine tuning of the parameters provides an optimal performance of the antenna in terms of bandwidth, gain and directivity. A Microwave Imaging algorithm (MWI) is used to detect the precise location of the tumor. With this, the designed approach is helpful in analyzing the precise location of the tumor.
