Abstract : The study examines the idea of hand motion control in the busy game community using a novel method. This will help find a unique method to encourage talk among the game and computer vision community. Acquisition of camera picture using the tools such as OpenCV, DirectShow and V4L2, hand and motion segmentation using segmentation method and Mediapipe for hand recognition framework. All the above offers a model for user interface management, the game development is done using Pygame and the controls are based on gesture-based directional control, the feedback and the analysis of results are carried out on some of the single chip computers. Preliminary outcomes in the various single boards are promising with gesture-based controls where manipulation by the user is enthusiastically changing the virtual environment.
