The work explores how efficiently a mobile sink can collect and transmit data to the gateway in a grid based wireless sensor network. The test area is divided in to squares of fixed size. The node in each grid communicates to the cluster head which it is associated. The mobile sinks collects the data from these cluster heads and transfer it to the gateway. The experiment calculates performance metrics like throughput, delay etc.
