Abstract : The reconnaissance process is a time consuming and risky task for hardware researchers and pen-testers. First, the exterior of the device is assessed and then opened to inspect the interior. The device can be seriously damaged due to this and cannot be reused. With the help of Computer Vision - Optical Character Recognition with Machine Learning, implemented in the app, one has to click on the text containing FCC ID real-time and is directed to the site containing all the required information. This saves time and the information of the device is readily available without the need to open up the device. FCC ID is considered as one of the protocols by the pen-testers.
