Abstract : In high power applications BDC plays a critical part for the integration between grid and energy storage system. Dual Active Bridge is one among the key topology in BDC which is commonly used in automotive applications. This paper analyses the single-phase-shift modulation modes of operation of the DAB converter, and a control method is proposed for the output voltage control and to establish ZVS condition at full operating range. A 10KW simulation model is built using MATLAB.
