Abstract : Storing energy has become one of the critical activities in the world right now. Energy can be stored using capacitors. Inorganic nanomaterials are one of the perfect energy-storing materials. The commonly used inorganic nanomaterials for a capacitor application include metallic oxides, perovskites, metals, spinel, and metal oxide composites. They are synthesized through methods such as conventional mixed oxide, green methods, precipitating method, sol–gel method, interlayer catalytic exfoliation process and simple hydrolysis method. Higher capacitance values have been recorded when capacitors were fabricated from inorganic nanomaterials. Inorganic nanomaterials are one of the efficient components of a capacitor.
